The Rimon Single Track in Lahav Forest – Kramim

This information is a recommendation only. Please ride carefully and responsibly. Some routes are for mixed-use of vehicles and cyclists. Riders must adhere to all traffic rules and pay attention to the signage.

Difficulty level: High riding proficiency

Route length: 8 km.

Start and end point: The entrance to the trail is at the Shvadron Farm carpark in the Lahav Forest.

Summary of the trip area: Riding in the southern part of Lahav Forest is a genuine riders’ “playground” incorporating various technical elements. The single track is marked by red wooden posts. Riding in the marked direction is clockwise.

Summary of the route: Upon entering the single track and after a short climb, the view opens up, and you will see on a hill near Kibbutz Lahav the ruins of Rimon – an ancient Jewish settlement with a large synagogue that was built during the Second Temple period and existed until the end of the Byzantine period. The single track continues into the forest, with many ups and downs; after about 6 km, you will reach the Yahel complex then back to the beginning of the trail.
