The site is dedicated to the three religious kibbutzim in the area. The ground floor of the museum presents photographs of the story of Kibbutz Sa’ad during the War of Independence. Access to the site is through the entrance road to Kibbutz Kfar Aza. The old security building of Kibbutz Saad was renovated and now serves as an active site with exhibitions and films telling the story of the battle for the area, emphasizing the story of the 3 religious kibbutz settlements in the Negev during the War of Independence. In addition, original telegrams are on view describing events from the war. The exhibition demonstrates the struggle of the warriors who were short of weapons, food and water and had to spend days and nights digging underground. An audio-visual is located on the second floor describing the atmosphere in Israel during the war, the part played by the 27 isolated towns in the South, which had only 1,000 people opposite 150,000 people in the Gaza Strip, the placing of the water pipe and the iniquities of the Palmach. The overlook from the roof uses viewing boards to show the city of Gaza, the Mediterranean sea, the electronic border system, enemy posts, our posts from the days of the War of Independence, the border passage near Nachal Oz, the outskirts of Ashkelon and the neighboring towns.

The Vineyard of Good Deeds - an experiential and unique navigation game Join us for a navigation experience with the help of a map and digital means, combined with entertaining and challenging tasks, through which you will get to know Moshav Tkuma, which was established as part of the 11-point operation in the Negev in 1946. The game combines teamwork, cooperation and creativity, and includes a visit to a lemon grove and picking. The "Vineyard of Good Deeds" was established with the aim of employing teenagers in risk situations and helping them develop a sense of their own abilities. Ron Art - personally designed tours of the Judaica studio I'm Ronen Horev, an artisan who creates functional art, and a resident of the Ma'agalim settlement in the Northwestern Negev. The studio, located in my backyard, is where I create my varied and unique art pieces: Mezuzah holders, Hanukkah menorahs, Bride's prayer, Candlestick trays and Shabbat candlesticks, as well as various Judaica artifacts and custom-made items (by order). Activities offered by the studio: Group meetings with an artist - hosting tours and experience workshops for groups, organizations and social events. This is a rare opportunity to watch and experience the glassblowing process. A tour of the studio - a rare opportunity to watch the glassblower at work. Visiting groups will receive, among other things, an explanation of the origins of glass blowing, the uniqueness of the material, a tour of the studio and a description of the artifacts. Siach Hasade Farm is the visitor center of "Arugot," an organic cosmetics company owned by Esther and Itai Lachman. The farm grows diverse medicinal plants and olives, raises chickens and sheep and operates a shop selling "Arugot"s cosmetic products. The farm offers tours of the medicinal plant beds, explanations about the healing powers of plants, natural health and the differences between regular and organic cosmetics, as well as a visit to the "Arugot" store and a small chicken and sheep petting zoo for children. We also hold crafts workshops about medicinal plants, natural pharmacy and how it is all connected to nature. The farm is open regularly for groups by reservation. We can also close the farm for private boutique events and workshops.

You are invited to our studio in Moshav Tkuma, where I hold an experiential woodworking workshop while teaching various techniques - we will sand, screw and paint a wooden product of your choosing: specially shaped shelves, wooden storage boxes, key hangers, mobiles, clocks, various home/kids' rooms accessories, and more. The products may be taken home immediately after the workshop. Suitable for ages 6 and up. The workshop duration is about 1 hour.

Ora's yard is back in action: After losing Ora, my beloved wife, to whom I was married for 63 years, and after many months in which the yard was closed to visitors, I decided to continue Ora's path and keep welcoming visitors with a big smile and a warm heart. I am delighted to open the yard again and receive small groups and families of between 4 and 20 people. Activities include: a unique guided tour of the orchard, with its 120 fruit trees from 80 exotic fruit varieties, accompanied by the fascinating personal story of our roots and how the settlement in the Negev started, narrated by Reuben Rozenblat. During the workshop we will experience ancient skills such as lighting a fire without matches, carving spoons, trackers and more and develop the ability to listen to the environment and communicate with each other, similar to hunter-gatherers. Ancient skills allow us to learn about the world around us, the plants, the animals and the natural elements. The ability to walk in nature and enjoy the basics of life instills a sense of security and capability. In the two-hour workshop we will be exposed to some ancient skills: lighting a fire without matches, gathering wild plants, ancient pottery, tracking and more. The workshop will give the participants an extraordinary experience of connection and doing. Suitable for families/groups and individuals. A glimpse into the world of trackers A short and focused workshop in which we will learn what tracking is and how this ancient skill helps us in locating people and tracking animals. In the workshop we will learn basic concepts and be exposed to the fascinating world of the tracker and the lives of trackers in ancient cultures. Finally, we will experience in tracking a person or an animal and try to solve an authentic tracking puzzle together. The workshop is intended for parents and children aged 8 and over. Activity time: two hours. Workshop for teams and organizations A unique experience that offers you and your team a deep connection with nature, through practical and inspiring experiences. During the workshop we will experience ancient skills such as lighting a fire without matches and develop the ability to listen to the environment and communicate with each other, similar to hunter-gatherers. All of these will serve us to strengthen our personal and group development as a team and as an organization. The workshop will give the participants an extraordinary experience of connection and doing. Parent and child workshop Come and enjoy a shared time, walk attentively and sensitively to share the whispers of the heart, to be filled by the living encounter with nature and the environment. The workshop is intended for parents and children aged 8-14 who wish to strengthen the connection between them. In the meeting we will learn a different field skill and through it we will deepen your connection and relationship together. The length of the workshop is about 3 hours and there will be up to 12 parent-child pairs to preserve the intimate group experience.

Alumim Rural Accommodation offers rustic style accommodation for the religious community, for Shabbat, Holidays and weekdays; for individuals, families and groups. 20 spacious, well-kept, well-decorated and air-conditioned vacation apartments with 1 or 2 rooms are offered, including a kitchenette and TV. The accommodations are located at the heart of the kibbutz, concentrated in one area, surrounded by well-groomed lawns, flowers and many delightful corners. Strictly kosher (Mehadrin) meals are served in the kibbutz dining room. There is a properly maintained synagogue and nearby a Bet Midrash, featuring an extensive library where you can hold a private minyan.
