When you reach the fork, continue to the right and drive straight to the T intersection. At the intersection, turn right and climb along the concrete path until you reach the sign instructing a left turn toward the monument.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\"><strong>WAZE <\/strong><strong>\u2013<\/strong> <strong>Anzac Monument<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\"><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">About the site:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">A monument commemorating WWI Anzac soldiers (Australian and New Zealand armed corps) who were killed in the Land of Israel &#8211; some in battles in the south during the occupation of Gaza.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\">The site offers a beautiful lookout at the area and the border with Gaza. Combining this site with a tour of the Sulfur Factory, Old Be'eri Nakhbir and the Bitronot Be'eri Reserve is recommended.<\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\"><strong><u><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">What can one see?<\/span><\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\">The monument dominates a unique observation point allowing a very close look into the Gaza Strip, west and east of the agricultural fields and the Bitronot Be'eri.
