For those coming from the South on 232, pass Kfar Gaza, and before turning to Kibbutz Mefalsim, turn left at the bend, following the signage.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\"><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Opening hours:<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> open at all times (pending the security situation)<\/span><br \/>\n<strong>WAZE: <\/strong>Black Arrow Monument<\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\"><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">About the site:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Part of the paratroopers' heritage sites, from the retaliation acts of 1953-1956. The site depicts 11 operations, including the &quot;Kadesh&quot; operation (i.e. the &quot;Suez Crisis&quot;), out of 70 operations the paratroopers carried out in that period. There's also a lookout on the Gaza Strip, a grove for picnics and the Armistice House.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\"><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">What can one see?\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The monument overlooks the northwestern part of the Gaza Strip. In the memorial site, there are explanatory plaques and independent listening positions, telling the stories of the fighters and the various operations, providing some overview of the region.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\"><strong style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">What can one do?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\"><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">The visit to the Black Arrow monument can be combined with a tour of the Armistice House, a picnic and a short drive\/walk to the Assaf Siboni Observatory, overlooking the northern border line between Beit Hanoun, Sderot and Nir Am.
