Ron Art - personally designed tours of the Judaica studio I'm Ronen Horev, an artisan who creates functional art, and a resident of the Ma'agalim settlement in the Northwestern Negev. The studio, located in my backyard, is where I create my varied and unique art pieces: Mezuzah holders, Hanukkah menorahs, Bride's prayer, Candlestick trays and Shabbat candlesticks, as well as various Judaica artifacts and custom-made items (by order). Activities offered by the studio: Group meetings with an artist - hosting tours and experience workshops for groups, organizations and social events. Studio for traditional jewelry design in gold, silver, gems and diamonds.   I have been engaged in goldsmithing for three decades. I display handmade pieces in gold, silver, gems and diamonds. We offer goldsmithing fundamental studies, advanced courses and one-off workshops suitable for novices, where one can experience goldsmithing and leave with your own handmade jewelry. You may also coordinate couples workshops to design your own wedding rings and similar items. One-time workshops cost NIS 300 per person plus the price of materials (gold, silver, gems). Hamra Studio A ceramics studio engaged in the construction of sinks, tiles, lighting fixtures, latticework windows and functional tableware. The studio offers a large display and sales gallery. My name is Amnon Greenspan. I am a master blacksmith with over 20 years of experience in traditional and modern blacksmithing. "I like to capture moments from nature and breathe new life into them through metal and fire." Blacksmithing is one of the oldest functional art forms, going back to around 1500 BC. My name is Michal Marom, owner of "Gotik" Studio in Kibbutz Re'im - featuring hand-made designed ceramics products and artifacts. It all started when I was in the third grade, skipping from one class to another. In 1986 I moved to Kibbutz Re'im in the Western Negev and studied at the Visual Arts College. The meeting point between the desert and my professional knowledge and love for art, design and aesthetics gave birth to tools and sculptures made from natural, crude materials, combined with earth-toned lacquers. I also produce sinks, statues, natural-looking, raw tableware, and more. The influences of the Western Negev landscapes, the anemones, the green spaces - are evident in my work, artistically and emotionally, as I combine mixed techniques. My name is Hanna Segal. In recent years, I have mastered the art of glass, specifically glass fusing. Fusing is an art form that incorporates raw material on which the artwork is built and painted. Then, it is placed in a kiln on a special mold. Molten in the kiln, the colors and image merge with the glass and the final piece is obtained through this fusing process. Bereshit Tools pottery uses an ancient Japanese technique of burning the pieces in an “Engema” wood burner. The burning lasts three days and reaches a heat of 1300 degrees.
