My name is Michal Marom, owner of "Gotik" Studio in Kibbutz Re'im - featuring hand-made designed ceramics products and artifacts. It all started when I was in the third grade, skipping from one class to another. In 1986 I moved to Kibbutz Re'im in the Western Negev and studied at the Visual Arts College. The meeting point between the desert and my professional knowledge and love for art, design and aesthetics gave birth to tools and sculptures made from natural, crude materials, combined with earth-toned lacquers. I also produce sinks, statues, natural-looking, raw tableware, and more. The influences of the Western Negev landscapes, the anemones, the green spaces - are evident in my work, artistically and emotionally, as I combine mixed techniques. The Olive Route - a nursery, an ancient olive grove and a café We have a large variety of mature and young trees - lychee, mango, avocado and many other fruit trees. My name is Hanna Segal. In recent years, I have mastered the art of glass, specifically glass fusing. Fusing is an art form that incorporates raw material on which the artwork is built and painted. Then, it is placed in a kiln on a special mold. Molten in the kiln, the colors and image merge with the glass and the final piece is obtained through this fusing process. A wide variety of tools and artworks can be created this way. The pieces include Judaica (Hamsa Talismans, Mezuzahs, etc.), jewelry and various utensils. Workshops capacity: up to 5-6 participants. Adenium Nursery by Rina and Danny Mor Cultivation, training and sale of the adenium plant (desert rose) Adenium Obesum ("Desert Rose") Adenium is a desert flower of the oleander family, native to the deserts of the Middle East, the Arabian Peninsula and East Africa. Due to its origin, it is resistant to heat and does not need much hydration, but it is susceptible to cold and excess water. In our country it blooms from spring to late summer. Ideally, it should be grown in a pot because, in winter, it should be moved to a place protected from rain and humidity. The root of the Adenium Obesum is bottle-shaped, which helps with the efficient storage of the little water the plant gets in the desert. Its large flowers are pink, crimson, red and white. Bereshit Tools pottery uses an ancient Japanese technique of burning the pieces in an “Engema” wood burner. The burning lasts three days and reaches a heat of 1300 degrees. Ron Art - personally designed tours of the Judaica studio I'm Ronen Horev, an artisan who creates functional art, and a resident of the Ma'agalim settlement in the Northwestern Negev.
