Hadkalim Farm offers visitors of all ages the best-suited activities from this list of possibilities: Activities for families and children: A guided tour of the petting zoo, amongst the sheep, goats, roosters and chickens, geese and ducks - enrichment tours are offered for children of different ages. Goat milking and bottle feeding the lambs - the farm offers enrichment activities teaching about the entire goat milking process and methods of goat cheese preparation. Also, bottle feeding the lambs is the highlight of farm activities. Activities at the tent encampment - various enriching activities are available at the Bedouin tent, based on the different attractions of Hadkalim Farm. Suitable for kindergartens and elementary school children. Various arts & crafts activities - experiential learning about preparing olive oil, packing olives into jars, and more. Difficulty level: Basic riding proficiency Route length: The first part of the trail, from Kibbutz Dorot to Ruhama, is about 8.5 km. The basic alternative to return to Ruhama for Dorot is about 6.3 km. (Dorot-Ruhma-Dorot Basic Trail is about 14.6 km). The Northern loop alternative from Ruhama to Dorot is about 11.5 km (Dorot-Ruhma-Dorot through the Northern loop is about 20 km). From the Northern loop, the "Bror Hayil Loop" splits off, about 19.5 km (Dorot-Ruhma-Dorot via Bror Hayil Loop is about 28 km). Start and end point: The Shikma Region single tracks have three possible entrances - The entrance to Kibbutz Ruhama; The entrance to Kibbutz Dorot, and; On the Shikma Scenic Trail, near Bror Hayil. For a circular route it is advisable to start at Dorot or Ruhama. Summary of the trip area: Spectacular vistas of the Ruhama ravines and rolling hills expose the rider to beauty towards the Hebron mountains and the lowlands. In season one can witness magnificent blossom carpets. The single tracks in the Shikma Region are made into circular loops, which allow for several alternatives of different lengths and different levels of effort; the route in the area is marked with green signage. Summary of the route: From the entrance of Kibbutz Dorot - start at the kibbutz gate, turn left on the dirt road with the single track sign into the woods, through the nearby fields and into the Dorot Stream channel. The single track continues towards the Ruhama Stream channel and then splits - to the right. to the northern loop; to the left to Dorod. On the way back, you will see the Gmama ruins (remains of buildings, caves and cisterns that indicate settlement in different eras). The single track continues along the route of the Ruhama Stream channel and finally turns left on a wide trail, crossing the road in front of the entrance to Kibbutz Dorot. This is the end of the route. Northern Loop: From the fork, the single track continues for a bit, then connects to a wide eolianite trail that climbs towards the observation tower. Taking a short walk, you can see the mosaic floor, a remnant of a monastery from the 6th century AD. The single track continues through the ravines, with ups and downs, toward the Ruhama Stream channel and integrates into the basic single track back to Kibbutz Dorot. Bror Hayil Loop: From the fork, the single track climbs in another turn and finally exits onto a wide trail between the fields and hills of the Shikma Nature Reserve. The single track continues towards the Hatzav Stream gorge. Finally, the single track continues toward the entrance to Bror Hayil and integrates back to Kibbutz Dorot. Japanese-style accommodation at Moshav Ein HaBasor – two well-appointed and luxurious guestrooms. Once you pass through the gate and cross the Japanese garden with the trickling sounds of water, and leave your shoes outside the guesthouse, you will also have to leave behind the everyday world in favor of a world that is all peace and serenity. The well-cultivated Ein HaBasor Moshav is located near the HaBasor Stream, where we have created two romantic guestrooms to accommodate couples.

The Urim guest house offers pampering and spacious guest rooms. Kibbutz Urim is at the north end of the western Negev and borders Eshkol Park. With spectacular desert views, the landscape is suitable for cycling, jeeps, all-terrain vehicles and horse riding. Kibbutz Urim offers a horse ranch and stables, a cactus garden, pampering treatments by appointment and an artist gallery. There are 39 vacation units in five separate complexes, suitable for families, groups, couples and individuals, in different-sized, fully-equipped rooms. 4 of these units can sleep families with up to 3 children. There is one luxurious suite with a bathroom and a hot tub (jacuzzi); There are also 2 large units with 3 wooden beds and a pull-out bed, suitable for couples + 2 children. There are also double rooms... all units, except the 4 units on the second floor, are on the ground floor and are accessible to people with disabilities and the elderly. Guest rooms are pleasantly furnished for maximum comfort, equipped with overhead air conditioner, wardrobe, wooden beds, designed and comfortable bathrooms with all necessary amenities, TV, high-speed Internet, WI-FI, kitchenette with electric kettle, electric stovetop, microwave, refrigerator, coffee, tea, milk, etc.

Near HaBsor Stream in Ein HaBsor are the Herb Farm guest houses. Three guest houses and a new wooden hut designed and built for you with an artistic and loving hand. The unique furniture is made of natural wood with spectacular handiwork. You can enjoy rural hospitality in a quiet and intimate atmosphere in two romantic guest houses and a wooden hut, different from one another and fully equipped down to the last detail.

A rustic, family-run boutique patisserie producing a variety of cakes, cookies, quiches, and pastries. Family and couple picnic baskets are also available for pre-order and pickup. The patisserie holds a kosher certificate. Dine-in is not available; advance ordering is required.

Galai Winery - the Boutique Winery of the Northern Negev A (paid) guided tour of a family-owned, rural boutique winery whose wines have won prestigious medals and awards both in Israel and abroad. Tasting various fine and unique wines accompanied by explanations about the careful manufacturing process of all wines exclusively produced from grapes grown in the vineyard next to the winery in Moshav Nir-Akiva, the North-Western Negev. You may sit or stay on the grounds even without the paid tour - based on availability. The cost depends on what you order from the menu. Rich, diverse picnic baskets - ready-made or customized (wines, cheeses, spreads and more) Arrival at the complex: Location: Moshav Nir-Akiva (close to the Beit-Kama interchange, Netivot and Sderot) Waze: "Galai Winery" or "Nir-Akiva." Take the first turn right at the second roundabout inside the settlement. Parking: on-site. Follow the signage or any other directions provided. Notes: * The activity in the complex is not suitable for families with children. * Entry is from age 18. (Exceptions are made by prior arrangements only, with a special permit). * The wines are not kosher. The food products are kosher, but not all have a kosher seal.
