Summary of the area: In the Nir Moshe Forest, there is a great variety of trees, including pines, cypresses, eucalyptus, and sycamores, and within it winds the bike trail that KKL-JNF has paved. The single track is marked by wooden posts with a drawing of a bicycle inside a blue circle and a blue arrow in the direction of traffic. Summary of the route: North of the entrance to Moshav Nir Moshe, you will notice an explanatory sign on the bike trail and turn left with the signage toward the single track. The trail begins in a young grove and later reaches an open area and returns into the grove. After 6.2 km, we will reach a fork with signs for two directions - Right to the continuation of the single ; Straight to the single leading toward Kibbutz Dorot and the Ruhama and Dorot singletracks. Start and end point: Jo Alon Center, Lahav Forest Summary of the trip area: A circular route called the Alon Single track was paved in the Lahav Forest. It runs through the entire forest and includes panoramic views between natural woodland and archaeological sites. On the eastern edge of the forest are the Rimon ruins, impressive remains of an ancient synagogue, and dozens of caves that were used for living, agricultural storage facilities and more, testifying to a large Jewish settlement that existed here. On the other side of the forest, one would find Khirbat Abu Hof, with the remains of two large churches, a columbarium, agricultural facilities and more. The singlet rack is marked by wooden poles with a red sign on a white background. Summary of the route: The single track entry is quite bumpy at first, with several ups and downs between trees, flowers and views of the hills of the Lahav Reserve and the Lachish area. Finally, the single descends into a wide valley and meets Be'er Tilla. The single track continues climbing toward the peak of Lahave Mountain. From there, you may continue on the Alon Single track or take a right toward Rimon Singletrack. HaBsor Stream: On the banks of HaBsor Stream stretches one of Israel's largest streams, exiting Eshkol Park, which is mostly man-made (KKL -JNF, the Natural Parks and Nature Reserves Authority and Merchavim Regional Council all partner in the development and operation of the park). The Park - A lush, green focal point for those touring the Northern Negev region. Each season "paints" the park and its surroundings in different hues and shades, and from February-March the entire area is dyed in "anemone ruby" - a breathtaking sight that beckons us to leave our homes, go out to nature and rejoice in these 'blossoms'.
