"From destruction and ruin we shall grow a strong and healthy vine, with deep roots and quality grapes for the glory of our home, for the lives of our father-grandfather's partners, and in memory of those who are no longer with us." In 2006, Gideon Pauker, one of the founders of Kibbutz Nir Oz, dreamed of producing wine from grapes he would grow himself, for his own enjoyment and that of his relatives and friends. Encouraged by his friends and partners Gadi Moses and Haim Peri, and in partnership with additional members from the kibbutz, the dream took shape: the group planted a small vineyard on the western side of the kibbutz and established the winery in Nir Oz's first shelter. Gideon served as the winemaker and vintner of the small winery, joined by his project partners in carrying out various tasks to transform grapes into wine. Over approximately 17 harvests, Gideon fulfilled his dream. On Saturday morning, in early October, when the wine was ready but had not yet begun aging, the kibbutz fence was breached, and a bloodthirsty Gazan mob flooded the area. For eight hours, hell reigned in our small piece of paradise. By day's end, the dimensions of the disaster became clear: Gideon was murdered in his home, and three of his partners – Haim Peri, Yoram Metzger, and Gadi Moses – were kidnapped to Gaza. Many other partners also lost family, friends, and homes. During those difficult days, the final wine remained orphaned in the shelter. With help from people in the Israeli wine industry, we, Gideon's family, managed to rehabilitate the vineyard, rescue the wine, and bring it to bottling, as a legacy for the wine group from Nir Oz. In spring 2024, we planted a new vineyard in memory of our father-grandfather, and alongside the friends' winery, we established "Pauker Winery" – a boutique family winery that invites everyone to taste quality wine overlooking the fields of the western Negev, and to continue Gideon's legacy and dream. With us, you will receive rural hospitality, seating facing the vineyard with an open view of the fields, and a quality boutique wine experience with a family story of growth and hope.

An agricultural attraction for the whole family "Katifli" is a particularly friendly experience for families with children, where you can enjoy foraging and gathering various unique vegetables - colorful carrots, potatoes, cherry tomatoes to eat on-site, spinach, Swiss chard, 4 types of mint, extremely hot peppers, lettuce, baby leaves and herbs! You are welcome to visit, smell, taste, pick and go home smiling, with full bellies, baskets and hearts! For this entrance fee each family receives a basket they can fill with root vegetables. Additional baskets can be purchased on-site and taken home.  

Take a break for both body and soul, close your eyes and feel a moment of peace. Take a deep breath and connect to the desert slopes. Float in warm water and listen to calming underwater music, drink tea made from desert herbs and rest in concept suites, order incredible hydrotherapy treatments and just give yourself true rest. The site has 2 guest house units: Negev – located on the edge of a hill and overlooking the slopes of the desert. A small lake is filled in winter and visible from the unit, and a magnificent desert savannah with filling sunsets is visible all over. Desert – located on the first floor and overlooks the Negev expanses, magnificent sunsets and a spectacular sight filling in its open spaces. Boutique holiday villa "Facing the Savannah" - suitable for a group or family of 6-12 people. This boutique villa features 3 pleasant bedrooms, a bathroom with robes and towels and two restrooms a spacious living room containing seating areas and beds, and a large kitchen equipped with the best electrical appliances for meal preparation, i.e., all tableware, cookware and serving dishes. A sitting that offers our guests quality books, board games, and free internet access. The villa has a magical outdoor balcony, an authentic dining area, and a sitting area overlooking the desert landscape. What can be found outside? Swimming pool, water treatments and unique experiences for the whole family. "Einot Bar" offers a hydrotherapy complex of water treatments and experiences suitable for all ages!

Alumim Rural Accommodation offers rustic style accommodation for the religious community, for Shabbat, Holidays and weekdays; for individuals, families and groups. 20 spacious, well-kept, well-decorated and air-conditioned vacation apartments with 1 or 2 rooms are offered, including a kitchenette and TV. The accommodations are located at the heart of the kibbutz, concentrated in one area, surrounded by well-groomed lawns, flowers and many delightful corners. Strictly kosher (Mehadrin) meals are served in the kibbutz dining room. There is a properly maintained synagogue and nearby a Bet Midrash, featuring an extensive library where you can hold a private minyan.

  Come and relax in a magical atmosphere overlooking a pastoral landscape on the edge of Nahal Gerar at Naama Farm camping site The farm raises sheep, grows grains and olives and cultivates tourism, including a lodge, motorhome park, camping site and a complex for social events. The farm's amenities include well-organized sleeping quarters, a dining room and a fully equipped kitchen, a showers/toilets complex,  campfire and barbecue areas and a petting zoo. Everything one needs for an efficient, cozy and self-indulgent camping experience that still delivers a fully immersive sensation of the great outdoors. Visitors are offered guided tours of the sheep pen, including milking withactive participation in lambs' bottle feeding. The entire site is built with visitors' maximum comfort in mind and is fully accessible to people with disabilities. The Olive Route - a nursery, an ancient olive grove and a café We have a large variety of mature and young trees - lychee, mango, avocado and many other fruit trees. The olive grove includes pleasant seating areas for couples or families. You can pick up smoothies / freshly squeezed juices / coffee from our cafe and go down to the adjacent orchard to enjoy the view of the olive trees and the fruit in an ancient atmosphere.
